Passport

According to international regulations, traveller's passport must be valid at least 6 months after the end of the trip abroad. Sometimes embassies overlook it (especially if you apply for several visas). But border immigration officers will most probably pay attention to passport expiry date. If it expires in less than 6 months after you intend to leave their country, they can deny you access into it, even if you have a visa.

Before applying for any visas, make sure that your passport is valid way after you come back home, and if it is not - apply for the new passport first.

Visas

Most countries we organise trips to require travellers to obtain visas in advance. It's Journey Time provides all necessary visa support documents after trip is booked. Please, note that application rules change. We recommend always to check with the embassy about the exact application procedure.

We also recommend to start visa process about 6 weeks before the trip starts, to avoid disappointment if due to any reasons the trip is cancelled. Usually each embassy takes about 7-10 working days to proceed the application.

Pre-application paperwork (Letters Of Invitation, Hotel lists, etc) will be send to the email address you provided when booking. Check your SPAM folder in case you don't receive visa support documents within 36 hours after sending your details (for Trans-Mongolian trips, Iran authorisation number takes longer). If you hadn't receive any visa paperwork, please, contact us directly.
